Campus Organizer

The primary job of the Campus Organizer is to create or maintain an effective Sierra Student Coalition group that runs campaigns on a high school or college campus. Campaigns should be driven by the Organizer's group and ideally be a part of the SSC's national priority campaign (the Climate Campaign). This is an entry level position in the SCC and all local group leaders, including high school students, are encouraged to affiliate by signing up to be a campus organizer. It is a quick and easy process that can be completed online. If you are the leader of your campus group sign up to be a Campus Organizer today!

Community Coordinator

The primary role of the Community Coordinator is to promote and support the Sierra Student Coalition's goals and campaigns in their city, region, or state. Community Coordinators are responsible for maintaining communication between multiple campus groups and for facilitating joint efforts that will maximize collective student power, in line with principles of anti-oppression and environmental justice. Community Coordinators also serve on and are supported by the SSC's Conservation Committee, where they develop and implement the SSC's national and regional campaign actions.
