What is your favorite SSC-related activity?
Dance Party during Shindig 2008 [the SSC's national leadership gathering, held each year in August]. So it started out with a group of people jammin to Beyonce and Puerto Rican rap, then it moved into a dorm room where even more people were groovin to techno under flickering lights, and then I moved outside and chilled to guitar sing-alongs. And finally, I decided to lay on the asphalt cause the sky was pretty, and I saw a shooting star! Best SSC night ever.

What have you done to  this past year to build the movement that makes you most proud?
Volunteering for Donna Edwards, recently elected to Congress, total climate champion.

Climate-wise what do you hope to see in the next year?
I hope to see lots of climate champions in Congress, even one as President. I hope that through Power Vote, Power Shift 2009, and all the local actions, that we get many, many more people involved in many, many more campaigns to get more climate legislation through congress.

If you could high-five anyone who would it be?
VAN JONES, he's my hero. It says on my myspace that I'd like to meet Miss America, Oprah and Van Jones. I don't want to high-five Oprah though, I just want to meet her.
