Every Saturday at 1:30pm, MCSEA will be meeting to discuss our campaign and hang out. We definitely need everyone coming that can, so be such to join our mailing list to make sure you get the meeting place!

Are you in an environmental club in your school? Email us at MCSEActivists@gmail.com for us to come give a presentation to your club on Global Warming and our new campaign!

19.08.2006 - MCSEA BASH

The MCSEA BASH will be held this Monday, August 21 at 1pm in Glen Echo Park (7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812) in front of the carousel. Election results will be presented at the picnic. Email Erica if you plan to bring food for the picnic. Also bring sneakers to play Ultimate Frisbee! Feel free to bring friends (and possible recruits)! If you haven't been involved in MCSEA in the past year, COME ANYWAY! We welcome you! It will be a lot of fun! Parking is available in the rear, follow signs to find the lot.

ELECTIONS ARE UP! As only one person is running for the positions of President, Secretary, and Outings Officer, the candidate statements for Vice President are listed. Don't forget to email your vote to Erica before Monday, August 21. Good luck to both candidates!

Alright, with a new school year approaching elections are starting! You can find brief descriptions of the positions here and proper emails at the Contacts Page. This part of the MCSEA site will be updated during the coming weeks with the submitted candidate statements for voting.

12.07.2006 - CAMPAIGN

THE 20% CLEAN ENERGY BILL PASSED!
Thanks to our hard work, Montgomery County is now the largest county purchaser of clean energy in the nation. In term of carbon dioxide reductions, it's the equivalent of planting 9 million trees. It is our efforts -- months of planning, petitioning, attending hearings -- that brought this bill into existence. F' yeah, MCSEA!
