SSC - Building Environmental Campus Community (BECC) Fellowships
Each semester, the Sierra Student Coalition supports talented student organizers in our Building Environmental Campus Community (BECC) Fellowship program. BECC organizers work with an environmental group to conduct a hard-hitting campaign for clean energy on campus. BECC Fellows attend an advanced grassroots organizing training (with travel and tuition expenses paid) that provides the skills to win victories on campus.
Fellowships are intended for the leader of student groups who are currently enrolled in college. Selected Fellows receive $1,500 scholarships, additional funding for campaign materials, and work with SSC staff throughout the semester.
