When: March 2-4, 2007
(Registration will begin at 2pm and the program will begin at 6pm on Friday, we'll end around 4pm on Sunday)
Location:
The Conference will be held on the UW-Madison campus in the Humanities building on 455 N. Park Street right off of University Ave. There will be signs showing you into and around the building. You will want to park on the Lake St. parking ramp (take a right onto Lake from University Ave. or a left onto Lake St. from Johnson St.) If you still need a ride to the conference, post a message on the rideshare board: http://www.wispirgstudents.org/energy_conference/rideshare_board
Lodging:
We are working on securing floorspace/couchspace with residential students here in Madison. If you need housing for the weekend and are interested in staying with students here on campus for free instead of renting a hotel room, contact mfwebb [at] wisc.edu to be added to our housing list and you will be contacted shortly before the conference with where exactly you will be staying. However, there is limited space available. We are unable to provide funding for hotel rooms, so if you plan to rent a hotel room it would be an extra $80-100. You would have to arrange this yourself and split the cost with your group (The Doubletree Hotel on 525 W. Johnson St. is a good location).
NOTE TO UW-MADISON STUDENTS: If you are able to provide housing to your fellow energy conference attendees, please e-mail mfwebb [at] wisc.edu with exactly how many people you would be able to house!
Food:
We will provide a breakfast and lunch on Saturday and also breakfast on Sunday. You should plan on bringing a few extra dollars for meals.
Cost: The cost of the conference is FREE! If you're about concerned about other costs, contact: mwchallenge [at] gmail.com
Travel: If you're driving or looking for a ride, please check out our rideboard.
