Inside the SSC > Spotlight Group of the Month

To reward our activists and show just how cool they are, the ExCom has come up with a pretty darn awesome program. Every month starting in January, we will be rewarding student groups the chance to be the... SSC Spotlight Group of the Month!

If you hear, see, or work with a group that has done (or is doing) something remarkable (like launching effective projects, hosting successful events, networking the movement, working on local or national campaigns, etc.), then we want to hear about it.

Anyone can nominate college or highschool groups that they want to honor, and then ExCom will decide amongst the nominees each month as to who will win The Ultimate Prize.

"So what is the SSC Spotlight Group of the Month?" You ask. Well here are all the props that a winning group will receive:

A certificate of National Recognition from the SSC ExCom
The group's project/campaign information sent out over SSC Update so that everyone can see how awesome they are (and help get support for the issue)
Their own spot on the SSC national website(with photos of the event and information)
SSC merchandise
